About this role

The Program Associate is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering world-class components to our current Greenhouse Scholars as part of our Whole Person Program. Program Associates are the nexus between our Scholars and our supportive community of mentors, professional networking contacts, Summer Symposium speakers, school administrators, and more. As part of our strategic growth plan, the Program Associates are working to broaden our program to include more touchpoints with our community of supporters and the broader communities where our Scholars live.

This position is in our Boulder, Colorado office and is not virtual or remote.

What you might do in a day

Design a skills module with a corporate partner that helps Greenhouse Scholars better understand the opportunities in the financial sector. Gather feedback from Greenhouse Scholars through a bi-annual survey, carefully noting what to take to your next phone calls with the Scholars that you work with directly. Meeting with a Greenhouse Scholar to provide one-on-one coaching, support, and guidance through a particularly challenging phase of their sophomore year. Craft an outreach effort to attract renowned speakers to the next Summer Symposium. Join a meeting with education leaders in Chicago to inform the development of a statewide scholarship support initiative. Along with an esteemed community advisor, work with the Class of 2025 Greenhouse Scholars to launch a project that supports a low-income high school in Atlanta, GA. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and launch an evolved mentor communication and training plan that meets the changing needs of our Scholars.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop trust, confidence, and a strong rapport with Scholars, volunteers, and other community members to ensure they feel personally supported, informed, appreciated, and engaged.
  • Flawlessly execute and manage several of our Whole Person program components.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate results via compelling reports and storytelling.

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • An entrepreneurial spirit
  • An unrelenting positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and follow up skills
  • A collaborative mindset and approach
  • An efficient and organized approach to managing projects
  • Experience using programs such as Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and MailChimp
  • 7-10 years of work experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is mandatory

Compensation

 

$50,000 – 70,000
