Full Job Description

Over the last 12-months Idahoan has invested heavily and experienced exponential growth in our E-commerce sales and we are looking to grow our team.

The E-commerce Manager is responsible for executing activities that supports Idahoan’s E-commerce vision and strategy. They will be responsible for the online sales of our products by effectively managing E-commerce operations so that Idahoan can be considered best in class across all E-commerce benchmarks. This position will support all aspects of E-commerce for both the Retail and Foodservice business units.

Reporting to the Director of E-commerce, this position will work as part of broader Retail Marketing team and will also collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance. Success will require an ability to think strategically and act tactically, a competitive mindset, overt sense of urgency and a deep understanding and appreciation of the data that will drive every decision. Primary responsibilities will include managing all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, and reporting, including managing our Amazon accounts, direct to consumer website, e-retail accounts, agency partners, and managing our digital marketing efforts.

This role will require project management experience, great organization, reporting and analytics, attention to detail, ability to work well with and influence others, strong communication skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines.

Principle Accountabilities:

Responsibilities

  • Manage online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and A/B testing and reporting
  • Executes against our E-commerce strategy and maintain related digital ecosystems & platforms to deliver against brand objectives, consumer needs and commercial goals efficiently and effectively
  • Work with developers to improve website speed, navigation, and UX
  • Work with the marketing team or manage digital marketers to improve quality and traffic acquisition
  • Use data visualization tools to help improve reporting using Power BI/Tableau
  • Research market to discover new trends and technologies to improve website performance
  • Assist in managing digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates, email marketing, and social media
  • Report on performance and be responsible for the day-to-day measurement and metrics for the business, staying on top of trends coming from the analytics platforms and making sure we are achieving qualitative & quantitative targets
  • Embrace and deploy a ‘test & learn’ mentality and a philosophy of continuous improvement to ensure experience is kept fresh and optimal 
  • Monitor the ROI and KPI’s of digital marketing efforts, promotions, and participation in events to ensure a positive and measurable impact on sale

Qualifications/Required Skills of the Position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with digital marketing strategies
  • Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis
  • Strong understanding of marketing and tech
  • Understanding and experience with web analytics, Google analytics, web platforms (Shopify)
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, Social Media Display, and affiliate marketing channels
  • Knowledge of attribution modeling, website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, business process, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task, manage workload, work well with others in stressful situations, and meet deadlines as necessary
  • Ability to effectively work with, communicate with, and present to all levels of the organization and product development teams
  • Ability to manage and mitigate project risks; problem solve, pivot, and quickly provide strategic solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Approximately 90% of work is performed in an office environment
