About the Position

Do you love the thrill of the (sales) hunt? Building lasting relationships from the ground-up? Uncovering new leads? Boasting about the value your company’s services offer?  Our Business Development team is growing and we’re hiring hungry, incredibly driven sales professionals to generate new sales leads through innovative outbound prospecting and client discovery methods, including phone, video, digital marketing, social media and more.  Candidates should be passionate about technology – especially public and private cloud, disaster recovery and security. 

Responsibilities

  • Generate actionable leads for the Otava Sales teams through outbound prospecting methods including phone, video, digital marketing, social media and more. This will require high volumes of outbound dials and outreach contacts
  • Pitch the business and technical value of Otava’s technologies
  • Gain a deep understanding of Otava’s client target market - pain points, needs and motivations
  • Research target accounts; learn everything you can about them.
  • Create long-term relationships at all levels of prospects’ organizations
  • Build awareness of Otava and our market differentiators.
  • Clearly communicate Otava’s elevator pitch, differentiated value and product differentiators elegantly to prospects at all levels of seniority, including the C-Suite
  • Provide meaningful educational content to prospects in order to assist them in their cloud transformation journey
  • Develop an account plan to manage your productivity and track your progress toward your sales goals
  • Document and update our CRM, SalesForce, with notes, company data, account intent and qualifier data

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ year’s prior experience in B2B new lead generation, business development, inside sales or appointment setting for a technology company
  • Proven track-record and comfort level executing high-volumes of cold calls and digital outreach
  • Fearless, tenacious and high energy personality and attitude. Possesses a hunger to succeed. High level of initiative. Self-reliant
  • Demonstrated comfort level speaking to C-suite executives and decision-makers
  • CRM experience especially Salesforce.com
  • Clear focus on performance, and results
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates and learn from experienced colleagues who will guide and mentor you throughout your career

Please note: this position has a salary range of $50,000-100,000 per year based on candidates experience (including salary and bonus).
