PSC is a high growth, innovative nonprofit that accelerates environmental and social sustainability in the pet product/services industry through education, tools, project support and collaboration. The organization works closely with almost 200 companies including brands, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to identify strategic impact opportunities that drive increased profitability. PSC is a B Lab partner (the nonprofit certifying body for B Corps) utilizing the B Impact Assessment and SDG Action Manager, a robust, benchmarked and holistic approach to measuring the social and environmental performance of businesses.
The Pet Sustainability Coalition is looking for a full-time enthusiastic and innovative Marketing Manager responsible for the execution of the marketing plan to support the organization’s objectives for the B2B and retailer channels. The key components of PSC’s marketing plan include member services (educational webinars, reports, & case studies), event advertising, editorial and trade coverage, event and program sponsorship, and the PSC accreditation program that drives marketing incentives to PSC’s top performing sustainable members. The Marketing Manager will set goals, monitor work and evaluate results to ensure that departmental objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the Marketing department’s overall marketing strategy
• Develop and execute an organizational marketing and content and activation calendar
• Manage external media, association, trade, and editorial partners and ensure content is delivered on time
• Full analysis and reporting of all marketing activities including promotions, events and spending within all marketing channels
• Manage WordPress website, toolkit, and event websites with support of web support team • Provide actionable insights for program and organizational growth
• Execute and analyze effectiveness of communications on all channels including direct e-mail, social media, trade, editorial, and events
• Supervise and delegate work to other internal team members as needed for content development
• Oversee ongoing improvement and expansion PSC’s accreditation program and staff including trade shows, promotions calendar and program order fulfillment.

Supervisory Responsibility:
• All outside agencies and media/trade/content partners and Accreditation Manager
• Web development agency when needed Required & Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of marketing experience in a business-to-business or multi-channel organization
• Knowledge of a variety of business-to-business direct marketing vehicles and tactics
• Experience using CRM systems, Hub Spot, MailChimp & Adobe Creative Suite
• A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects on time and within specified budgets • Experience with department budget building and reporting
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints and adapt to the unexpected
• Individual must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills.
• Individual must possess strong leadership skills, be able to motivate and influence others.
• Individual must be able to think creatively and strategically, have excellent judgment and be able to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
