Epicurean Butter Company, is a market-leading manufacturer of flavored butters for the retail and foodservice industries. Founded in 2004 and located in the Denver, CO metropolitan area, Epicurean Butter enables consumers, personal chefs and foodservice professionals to bring restaurant quality flavors into their own kitchens without additional prep-time or cooking knowhow. The Company offers 15+ core flavors of sweet and savory butters that can be paired with steaks, seafood, vegetables, pasta and breads. Epicurean Butter’s products are made with all-natural and premium ingredients and are sold as branded and private label products through grocery retail, foodservice and wholesale channels.
POSITION REPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of Epicurean’s production operation – a two shift, mixing and packaging facility
- Strict adherence to Epicurean manufacturing guidelines including, GMP, Safety, and SQF
- Promote safety as a top priority
- Maintain a clean and organized working area, reporting/communicating all equipment & safety issues as directed
- Produce weekly labor and production schedules, ensuring optimal productivity
- Communicate to all shift employees their objectives and deliver annual performance reviews
- Track performance of all production shifts to ensure team is meeting set objectives
- Oversee scheduled hours while minimizing overtime
- Maintain minimum product waste
- Provide a daily yield report, by line, by shift
- Promote new ideas for improving all production and labor metrics

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment producing consistently the best quality product in the category
- Flexible work schedule when necessary
EXPERIENCE
- Prefer 2-5 years of food or FMCG manufacturing supervisory experience
- Familiar with manufacturing equipment in the food or FMCG space
- Strong people management and interpersonal communication skills
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
- Manufacturing safety procedure knowledge
- Strong mathematical skills
- SQF experience a plus
