 We currently have an excellent opportunity for a driven and motivated individual who has a passion for selling outdoor gear to join our team as our Sales Manager – Digital Wholesale in our Boulder, CO office.
The Digital Wholesale Sales Manager will represent Sea to Summit’s growing range of award-winning outdoor products that will fully support and maximize our sales and brand efforts with our key wholesale partners within the dynamic and expanding digital space.  They will be responsible for maintaining and growing business relationships with existing dealers, establishing new accounts, and achieving sales targets and other identified KPIs. Sea to Summit’s salespeople provide best-in-class support and partnership to dealers including: assortment planning, merchandising, promotional support, education & staff training, business analytics, and technical product expertise.
They will interact regularly with the Digital and Brand teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned and we have best in class digital assets to support our digital wholesale accounts as well as our Key Account partners web businesses.
This Sales Manager will be tech savvy and laser focused on the digital space and is responsible for driving revenue, developing marketing efforts including brand consistency, data and ROI analysis, foster strong business relationships, and maintain channel expertise. This role requires approximately 80-100 days of travel per year.

Position Duties & Requirements
  • Drive customer sales growth and profitability by achieving quarterly and annual sales goals and other identified KPIs for their portfolio of accounts 
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking and focused reconnaissance and maintain a working and prioritized prospective account list inclusive of projected business potential 
  • Collaborate with Sales Reps to support the digital needs of their key accounts inclusive of REI, Bass Pro, Scheels, etc 
  • Attend and contribute to account digital marketing team meetings as needed
  • Vet digital marketing options to identify greatest ROI – assist in negotiations and campaign building
  • Maintain digital channel account performance metrics and share internally to be leveraged with key accounts
  • Provide excellent support and engagement with customers to achieve a high standard of product knowledge & merchandising
  • Ensure all regional sales, service and marketing campaigns are executed in alignment with the company’s expectations
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to partner with accounts to drive sell through and brand affinity
  • Schedule and conduct informative and professional product clinics – either in person or through video
  • Coordinate and manage seasonal retail marketing initiatives with participating accounts
  • Respond to retailer questions or issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Own and manage all aspects from sell-in to sell through of all identified digital partners
  • Create and drive digital go to market plans and budget
  • Share and align marketing calendars to maximize marketplace impact and campaign effectiveness
  • Ensure Merchant Team activities align with digital marketing support

  • Monitor, maintain, and maximize all product listings
  • Maintain vetted prospective account list to identify and open qualified accounts
  • Measure and record ROI for all digital wholesale campaign and activities 
  • Manage all item set up documents and processes
  • Demonstrate nimbility and provide cross functional support as business demand dictates 
  • Work in tandem with various departments and maintain flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals, along with other duties as assigned
Our ideal candidate would have the following:
  • 3+ years in sales role with proven track record of meeting key performance metrics in previous positions
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and peers
  • Present themselves professionally and be comfortable when speaking with customers or giving presentations to a group
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications especially MS Excel
  • Organized with attention to detail.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of technical aspects of our products to be sold.
  • Highly organized and have excellent follow-through
  • Self-directed and takes initiative 
  • Passion for the outdoors and outdoor activities
  • Willing to work a non-standard schedule, including some evenings and weekends
  • Current Driver’s License & excellent driving record
  • 2+ years sales experience in Outdoor Industry and 1+ year previous Retail experience
This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package which include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401K match, paid time off, community service leave, paid holidays, RTD Pass,  gear allowance and some other great perks. The salary range for this role is $58,564 - $87,846 with the starting salary at the mid point of this range. This is an office-based position, located in Boulder, Colorado.
