Arryved started with an idea of building an app for craft beer drinkers (like us) to track beer purchases and preferences. With a vision for the app, we shopped the idea around to our brewery friends. Time and again, they shrugged off the idea and lamented on the need for a point of sale specifically for taprooms. The more we chatted with taproom owners and managers, the more evident the taproom POS gap became. So, we changed direction and set out to fill that gap with a point of sale designed specifically for the craft brewery experience.
In July of 2016 Arryved launched in a few local taprooms (thanks for having faith in us—you know who you are). The next 6 months found us with our laptops at the bar, looking for inefficiencies in our system, chatting with staff and finding solutions for pain points in the taproom in real-time as we observed Arryved in-action. By early 2017, we were ready to expand, and expand we did.
We’re now providing service tools to hundreds of taprooms, brewpubs and pizzerias of all shapes and sizes across the country. Our customer list includes breweries, brewpubs, pizzerias, cideries, non-production taprooms, meaderies, distilleries, kombucha shops, music venues, foodhalls, axe throwing spots, food truck lots and more—the list is ever-expanding! But we remain true to our core, providing excellent solutions to the craft food and beverage industry, which is passionately leading the revolution of service across the entire hospitality industry.

About Us
Arryved is a Boulder-based company specializing in Point-of-Service for craft breweries, restaurants and other craft destinations. We operate in hundreds of establishments across the country, with many of the top craft establishments using our platform. You've probably seen our system in use at craft destinations nationwide—or maybe you've used the Arryved mobile app yourself. At our core we use software to build excellent customer experiences on both sides of the counter, from being the central hub of the restaurant/taproom and back-of-house, to online sales and mobile guest experiences. We believe that nothing is worth doing unless it aligns with your customer experience and is done right, no matter the cost.
About You
We want someone as passionate about service as we are, and equally as passionate about ensuring we’re building a product that our customers are excited about. We are looking to hire a Visual Designer.
Must Haves
- 3+ years experience with a portfolio demonstrates breadth & depth of experience
- Clean, sophisticated, and playful aesthetic, with the ability to adjust design personality based on application
- Experience with an array of media and understands the differences
- Experience with UI visual design, how that too is different from other media
- Experience with software development
- Experience with design systems—either using them or (preferably) building them
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven, can operate independently, and respond to unexpected situations with confidence
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities
- Comfortable learning new tools and technology
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and XD
Expectations
- Establish and maintain a design system built on brand guidelines that will extend from mobile and web apps to marketing website
- Manage planning of portfolio and execution of pieces with a consistent, sophisticated design, serving internal customers across product and marketing
- Build mocks for all of our customer facing products (consumer app, point-of-sale, reporting system) per the direction of the UX team
- Build mocks for marketing website per the direction of the marketing team
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Google product suite
- Experience in a similar role at a SaaS tech company
- Industry experience in craft beverage or restaurant
