Job Description for O2 Senior Growth Marketing Manager

Job summary

In 2020, O2 was featured on the cover of Entrepreneur's Startups magazine, won Best Beverage Marketing Campaign of 2020, and grew our DTC customer base 10x. You’ll make sure that was just a starting point. We are building "The Patagonia of Hydration," and we're looking for an A+, senior-level growth manager to help get us there.

We’re looking for an experienced growth marketer with a passion for unlocking DTC scale. You’ll become the expert on our growth channels and use tactics like paid social, partnership, affiliate, and other paid/earned tactics to accomplish your objectives. To unlock scale, you’ll optimize existing channels and find new opportunities for growth. In close collaboration with creative and digital product teams, you’ll own our paid customer journey and be responsible for driving growth through high life-time value customers you acquire efficiently. You’ll manage and measure all tactics, providing a feedback loop to internal stakeholders while in a constant state of testing/optimizing. You’ll report to the Head of eComm and will be a key player on a diverse set of teams, including creative and brand marketing. This role requires technical use of ecommerce apps/tools, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to present useful business data and insights.

We’re searching for a performance marketing leader with an unstoppable drive and a passion for excellence to join our team of high performers. Core duties and responsibilities

  • Own the growth marketing acquisition strategy and channel mix on both drinko2.com (primary) and Amazon (secondary)
  • Own and efficiently scale O2’s online acquisition channels by optimizing CPA and LTV
  • Set and deliver monthly, quarterly, and yearly growth goals
  • Collaborate with our internal creative team to produce best-in-class creative
  • Share weekly growth marketing reports on KPIs like new customers acquired, CPA, AOV, conversion, etc

Your background

  • Proven marketer who understands and has worked across the full DTC marketing funnel, having owned at least 2-3 growth channels in your career
  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce, specializing in DTC and Amazon performance/acquisition marketing
  • Outstanding data analytical skills and the ability to translate data into action
  • Motivated by targets, with experience setting goals, managing a budget, building forecasts, and delivering against monthly new customer, CPA, and LTV targets
  • Experience with performance tracking, measurement, attribution
  • Experience with A/B testing to optimize offers and communication effectiveness 
  • Prior work in a startup environment, with its fast pace, shifting priorities and fluid nature
  • Experience with cross-functional partnerships, especially creatives, brand marketers, and external marketing partners
  • Analytical with an ability to mine data for opportunities and insights 
  • US Military veteran status is a major plus
  • Willing and able to work unconventional hours (e.g., late nights, weekends)
