Full Job Description

Ripple Foods, a fast-growing, entrepreneurial plant-based food tech company headquartered in Berkeley, CA, is looking for a detail-oriented collaborator to support our marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Marketing Associate will be responsible for managing execution of our digital content strategies, supporting our internal reporting & data optimization efforts, streamlining workflows and establishing new processes to keep our digital marketing, brand marketing and shopper marketing teams in-sync.

This role is based out of our office in Denver, CO. We are a small but mighty team – join us!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute Ripple’s social content calendar including asset & copy creation, posting, and community management. Assist with email newsletter campaigns and website updates.
  • Track, analyze and report social channel performance. Provide optimization suggestions based on results, industry trends and best practices.
  • Pull and analyze consumption data (Spins/IRI/Nielsen) for monthly business reviews
  • Partner with Ripple’s existing content creators, identify new content creators, and manage asset library keeping it organized and current. Support sales team creative requests working in partnership with Ripple’s inhouse designer.
  • Coordinate the marketing budget; work with the VP of Marketing, Marketing Managers and Finance to team to track spending and manage against monthly and annual plans.
  • Manage coupons; creation, distribution, and redemption tracking. Analyze redemption data and provide recommendations to Marketing Managers to help inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage vendor partnerships; sourcing, estimates, ordering, and coordinating delivery
  • Plan and coordinate various aspects of trade shows, sales meetings and retail marketing events
  • Coordinate shipments and deliveries of sales samples, demo kits, swag, marketing and influencer items. Provide suggestions for items and formats that are up and coming/on brand for Ripple.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in marketing or at an agency; experience working in/on natural foods, beverages, or CPG brand(s) preferred
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working in a start-up environment. Proven ability to be flexible and to navigate ambiguity
  • Ability to communicate clearly (both written and verbally) and work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to manage project timelines and deliverables
  • Strong understanding of established and emerging social platforms. Experience managing social content for a brand or campaign preferred.
  • Awareness of competitive developments, trends and best practices in digital channels with the ability to stay current on trends learn what’s current and what’s coming up next
  • Experienced in pulling, understanding and analyzing data and trends to help provide strategic recommendations for both business consumption and social media
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows, retail meetings and events as needed (estimated 10-25% of time)
  • Highly proficient at using a Mac, MS Office product suite, and Google suite applications. Experience with other platforms such as MailChimp, Adobe, Canva, Numerator, Facebook analytics, Spins/Nielsen/IRI is desirable
  • A./B.S. degree in a relevant field (e.g., business management, communications) preferred
