Product Marketing Manager
Ardent Mills is seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about strategic marketing, new product innovation and the food industry. We are searching for an individual with experience as an associate marketing (or brand) manager and has a passion for driving product growth with customers. An ideal candidate will have strategic and analytical skills, and a passion for identifying opportunities to drive sustainable profitable growth of Ardent Mills’ products. In this role, you will be responsible for:Â
- Development of marketing strategy and support for both existing and new products. You will play a key role in driving awareness, demand, and adoption of Ardent Mills products to our current customers and prospective customers.
- Identifying opportunities to successfully bring new products to the market
- Collaborating with other members of marketing, Research & Development and sales to create and execute marketing campaigns and outbound communication, lead new products from concept to launch, and deliver go-to-market strategies.Â

Your responsibilities:
- Gather and leverage market data, consumer and customer insights to define focus products and size of prize to inform priorities of marketing and broader organization.
- Identify space for new products and innovation, with clear value propositions for different customer segments.
- Work cross-functionally to continue to build our innovation pipeline and bring innovative product ideas to launch.
- Develop product marketing briefs (for existing and new products) that identify problems and solutions, including product positioning and value propositions.
- Participate in strategic discussions across sales and marketing to establish go-to-market strategies.
- Develop campaigns to help increase awareness, demand, and adoption.
- Collaborate with Sales to provide comprehensive support. Provide materials, data and answer questions about products.
- Work with and direct outside companies who provide added marketing partnership value.
- Attend events and represent Ardent Mills and its products
Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on marketing, communications or business or equivalent work experiences.
- Minimum of 1-2 yrs of Brand Marketing experience, and 5+ years of relevant business work experience.
- Ability to demonstrate proven creative talent and originality.Â
- Proven understanding of different types of marketing campaigns.
- Ability to effectively leverage marketing tools.Â
- Excellent storytelling and influencing skills with the ability to develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Ardent Mills products in the market
- Experience in new product launches.
- Provides new approaches to marketing, leans into challenges and has a high level of curiosity.
- Demonstrates good independent judgment and discretion.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and sense of urgency.Â
- Enjoys processes and the opportunity to analyze results and build recommendations based on successes or challenges.
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure.Â
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Ability to learn and assimilate information quickly.Â

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities and level of experience. The annualized salary for this position starts at $78,143.10and goes up from there. Our salary ranges are quite broad, and your individual salary will be market competitive based on your unique set of skills and level of experience. Additionally, because we believe that our team members are the reason for our success, we offer all team members (who are not excluded due to their collective bargaining agreement) an opportunity to earn at minimum 5% additional variable incentives based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. Your specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on your role and contributions.
