Our flagship product, BolderBlack®, is a less expensive, more sustainable alternative to virgin carbon black.

This individual will report to the Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate is highly detailed, organized has excellent communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance with internal policies, rules and regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Support timely monthly, quarterly, year-end financial close, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Bank/cash reconciliations.
• Intercompany transaction reconciliations.
• Maintain Fixed Asset and Prepaid schedules.
• Maintain detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Assist in establishing corporate accounting processes and policies.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Responds to vendor account inquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
• Support financial and compliance audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently
• Innovative problem-solving skills and flexible mind-set
• Self-starter, dependable and able to respond quickly and accurately on multiple priorities
• Strong MS Excel knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ more years of accounting or finance experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Inventory / manufacturing experience preferred.
• Cost accounting experience preferred.
• Experience managing inter-company transactions.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliation required.
• Quickbooks, Dynamics 365, NetSuite experience preferred.
