POSITION Natural & West Sales Manager (Senior Manager depending on experience) REPORTING TO Chief Commercial Officer LOCATION Flexible About ALOHA ALOHA is seeking a charismatic, high-energy sales leader who demonstrates passion, grit and embraces accountability. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this position will own all sales activities across both the Natural Channel and Western Conventional Grocery, as well as help build business in specialty channels. In addition, business development responsibilities include helping to lead Ready to Drink beverage segment growth all channels. The includes developing strategic customer plans combined with specific action items, managing customer relationships, partnering and motivating brokers or distributors, and collaborating with the cross-functional commercial and marketing teams to execute with excellence. Candidate must have strong track record of success at brand-centric, food & beverage companies and be passionate about meeting stretch objectives. This person needs to be self-motivated, proactive, and yearns to be in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Passion for health and wellness is a must! Responsibilities • Drive Topline Sales Revenue Albertsons/Safeway, West coast regional grocers, and others. including Away from Home opportunities • Manage trade spending and drive promotional effectiveness • Business Relationships & Communication o Passionately build customer relationships winning more than our fair share of their mind and attention o Build and deliver sales presentations to key customers, often in coordination with the broker/distributor partners o Regularly update and communicate progress with cross functional team • Provide Monthly Sales Analytics and Category Management support o Leverage SPINS and syndicated data for monthly business overview / snapshot for all of our customers. Translate this data effectiveness for sales meeting and internal buy-in. Be action- oriented and have a problem-solving focus (“what, so what, now what?) o Incorporate digital trends and cross channel insights |

Skills • 5-10 years experience in retail Natural & Grocery Channels with direct key account or sales region management responsibility • Bachelor’s degree required. Areas of focus in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred • Prior sales experience with BOTH big company and entrepreneurial company experience (e.g. revenue under $50 million) preferred • Established relationships and demonstrated success working with key retailers along with the leading brokers and distributors (UNFI, KeHE) servicing these channels products About You • You are scrappy and enjoy the paradoxical challenge that can be the combination of analytical and creative problem solving • You speak your mind and engage in productive conflict, yet remaining solutions oriented and embrace creative problem solving • You can appreciate the highs and lows of a start-up environment and embrace the opportunity to truly make a difference at both a strategic/high and “in the weeds”/low level depending on what the business needs require |
