OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE 
 
Reporting to the VP of Commercial NA and based in our Denver office, you will be a member of our global marketing leadership team that defines brand marketing strategy and direction. You will activate and drive brand relevant marketing plans across the North American region to develop the BOA brand, create consumer demand and drive our annual growth goals. This includes development of regional execution plans including trade marketing, sponsorships, events, activations, media plans, and brand partner go-to-market launch plans. You will lead a team of 3-4 regional marketers and will report inside a matrixed structure – reporting directly to the VP of the North American Commercial with a dotted-line to the VP of Global Marketing. 
 
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Regularly role model BOA's values to your team and others
  • Lead, coach and develop the Marketing team in all aspects of strategy, brand relevance and Marketing execution so they are setup for success understand their priority focus areas  
  • Work with your direct reports to set and review performance/development goals, discuss feedback regularly throughout the year, and formally summarize during performance reviews   
  • Design and develop the North American marketing execution plan that drives the company's trade and consumer strategies within the region, measuring impact and setting KPIs that improve team performance  
  • Drive the integration of brand, trade and consumer marketing across the North American Commercial team  
  • Lead North American endemic and earned media relationships and campaigns along with regional retail, event and sports marketing efforts 
  • Develop local events and venue sponsorship strategy for all portfolio brands 
  • Own the Regional Marketing budgets, including contractual obligations and external agency relationships  
  • Lead the socialization of North American marketing planning including up, down and across the organization with key stakeholders 
  • Ensure consistent implementation of BOA's brand standards, ensuring appropriate voice and messaging are executed by Brand and Retail Partners in the marketplace 
  • Support the global Content, Creative and Digital teams with regional connectivity, analysis, and execution 
  • Collaborate with EMEA and APAC Marketing Directors to ensure regional plans and execution support the global marketing strategies 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  
  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, with a minimum of 4 years of experience managing a team 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study  
  • Advanced experience managing and building diverse teams with proven success in leading and inspiring 
  • Experience developing marketing plans with an established history of marketing measurement, including brand and performance media measurement 
  • Advanced understanding of how to work with and influence both internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute plans   
  • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to communicate brand standards and inspire consumers  
  • Comfort and experience providing public presentations  
  • Desire to use your organized project management approach to help the team prioritize their work and maintain our fast pace 
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups of people across the world 
OVERVIEW OF COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 
  • Budgeted salary range: $100,000 - $135,000 
    • We will determine salary based on skills and experience in relation to the function of the role, as well as equity to any other employees with similar experience in the same or similar role
    • This role is also eligible for a 15% annual bonus
