Brief Summary of Job
Full Job Description

You’ll have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the fastest-growing food company in Northern Colorado.  You’ll work closely with the Leadership team building our branded businesses – Ka-Pop! Snacks and Bubba’s Fine Foods.

You will be leading our online growth and supervising several agency teams in support of that effort.  You will oversee all online platforms, including Shopify, Amazon, Wholesale, and Key Retailer, to maximize sales and profit across all platforms.

You are responsible for establishing strategies and partnering across stakeholders to accomplish those goals.  To drive e-commerce revenue goals, you manage all digital marketing initiatives, including paid social media, search, website, and Amazon PPC. You would also develop an online business plan, including an annual budget and the related tracking and reporting. You have P&L responsibility for the e-commerce business for the company.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Amazon channel leadership:
    • Listing optimization
    • Forecasting and inventory strategy leadership for FBA while working closely with the operations team
    • Develop new product commercialization strategies – pricing, content, messaging, marketing
    • Amazon marketing agency management – building KPIs, supporting with new assets, tracking & measuring results
    • Budget and P&L ownership
  • Shopify channel leadership:
    • Drive strategy for our branded websites to drive topline revenue through increased trial & repeat purchase
    • Develop and track KPI’s that drive ongoing page optimizations
    • Manage agencies partners to develop new site functionality and improve customer experience
    • Budget and P&L ownership
  • Social media leadership:
    • Creating a digital marketing strategy for our brands that supports our full consumer ecosystem
    • Develop digital marketing plan with agency partners and support their execution and optimization
    • Create a community of advocates using various social media platforms
    • Partner with influencers to acquire new customers
  • Customer service team leadership:
    • Support clear communication between our consumer response team and the business to drive best-in-class customer service and bring insights to the company to continue improving.
  • Event Support:
    • Support trade show, demo, and event marketing strategy, materials, and staffing
  • Customer acquisition leadership:
    • Develop Digital advertising strategy, leading our agencies to fantastic execution
    • Work collaboratively with agency partners to analyze data to most efficiently drive awareness and maximize growth
  • Manage email communications strategies and support agency partners to drive high engagement and conversion.
  • Proactively and consistently evaluate the competitive market for each brand to ensure we are continuing to deliver a winning proposition to our target consumer.
  • Collaborate and partner with external agencies, designers, and photographers as needed

 

 

Requirements:

  • Belief in Bubba’s Fine Foods and Ka-Pop! Snacks brand, products, and mission.
  • Scrappy and entrepreneurial-minded with experience in early-stage or start-up companies, with the willingness to be nimble to business needs across role, responsibilities and hours.
  • Minimum of 2 years Marketing/Brand Management in CPG (ideally Food or Bev.)
  • 3+ years of experience with digital project management in B2C e-commerce environments.
  • 3+ years of experience interpreting metrics and analytics, creating reports, and responding accordingly.
  • 2+ Years of P&L leadership experience
  • Some website development and maintenance experience.
  • Some content creation experience (Adobe, Canva, etc..).
  • Some experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo)
  • Exceptional content strategizer.
  • Exceptional online marketing, e-commerce, and social media abilities.
  • Exceptional relationship-building with customer first approach.
  • Passion for excellence, rapid execution, and rapid iteration.
  • Passion for building healthy, sustainable brands.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Working remotely is possible, local highly preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
