You will be responsible for the development of assigned components and subsystems, and depending on project phase, you will either work under the leadership of a Lead Design Engineer or lead the engineering aspects of projects yourself. You will produce concepts, build and test prototypes, design parts in SolidWorks, refine and iterate parts through feedback from testing, and create engineering documentation necessary for production. You will also contribute to the development of production tooling and ramp-up to mass production. When leading projects, you will be accountable for oversight and coordination of engineering tasks for all Design Engineers on the project.

- Exposure to other manufacturing methods utilized in BOA’s products (sheet metal, wire forming, powdered metal, small part assembly, textile manufacturing)
- Experience applying engineering analysis methods using tools like Excel, Minitab, Matlab (or other languages), and FEA
- Comfort in selecting an engineering analysis method and analyzing independently
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups of people across the globe
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
