The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for developing and driving the overall e-commerce strategy, establishing and implementing the right infrastructure and go-to-market approaches and delivering against all e-commerce sales and business performance objectives. The position will direct both the brand and the technical needs across multiple e-commerce platforms. Good Karma fosters an entrepreneurial environment – the right individual should be prepared to use limited resources to drive sales across multiple e-commerce platforms.
Primary Duties:
- Manage overall e-commerce business including product, pricing and promotional strategies, day-to-day operations, revenue forecasting and management of outside agency partners.
- Lead e-commerce sales and growth initiatives across organization aligning with cross-functional partners including finance, operations and brand marketing.
- Devise strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales across key e-commerce platforms including Amazon and GoodKarmaFoods.com.
- Build strategy and oversee execution across different business models and platforms (e.g., Amazon, Brick and Click, DTC). Analyze business KPIs and apply learnings in order to drive sales and share growth.
- Monitor and analyze marketplace and competitive activities and develop collaborative ways to share insights within organization.
- Determine and communicate metrics of success, interacting with senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Inform innovation process to develop products to launch in e-commerce channel.
- Launch, build and manage customer acquisition framework for Good Karma’s DTC business.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field.
- 3-5 years e-commerce experience.
- Branded consumer goods experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Amazon and direct-to-consumer channels and proven track record of growing e-commerce brand revenue.
- Must demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, presentation and employee motivational skills.
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Solid analytic skills – metrics tracking, dashboard creation, and ability to extract insights from data and calculate program performance.
- Ability to work across functions to catalyze change in a positive, collaborative, transparent way.
