The role:
Run AMZ is growing fast and we are looking for an e-Commerce Content Strategist to help our brand partners tell their story on Amazon. This position will be responsible for developing best-in-class content that guides customers through their purchase journey when shopping online. The right person will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and understands the importance of effective content in the digital space.
Responsibilities:
- Develop holistic content strategies that successfully inform customers and increase conversion rates for our brand partners Amazon businesses
- Work closely with team members to understand our clients’ branding, products, and market positioning
- Write inspiring copy that blends brand voice with relevant and topical keywords while keeping SEO optimization in mind
- Collaborate with our designers to develop creative assets that fit the strategy for the brand’s products
- Be the subject matter expert by staying up to date on Amazon’s ever-changing page structures and features relating to A+, Stores, Posts, and more
- Develop internal processes for managing projects, workflows, and reporting relevant to content efficacy
- Responsible for timelines of content projects and communication to key stakeholder
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years in a creative role focused on web-based content, preferably with a consumer goods company
- 2+ years writing effective brand and product copy with deep understanding of SEO/SEM principles
- 2+ years of managing creative projects and basic knowledge of project management practices
- Experience developing and managing content for Amazon a plus
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines with cross-functional team members
- Comfortable presenting and storytelling in front of clients
- Experience researching keywords and proficient with tools needed for keyword discovery
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English and/or other related majors
- Portfolio and/or copy writing examples will be requested
