Position Summary: The Brand Manager position is an exciting and unique opportunity to join an established global brand and be a catalyst to driving tremendous growth in the US market.  The position is responsible for helping build the marketing function from the ground up!  You’ll help design and implement the brand strategy, lead brand marketing activations, and help support exponential growth in distribution, awareness and trial. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will be a jack/jill-of-all-trades marketing professional that will help design and scale all marketing activities.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience and success in establishing a brand, building integrated marketing plans and show a balance of strategy and tactical execution.  S/he will bring a passion and a can-do attitude to our entire business team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for managing a variety of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, trial, and distribution.
  • Assist in the development of annual, long, and short-term marketing strategy and plans. 
  • Assist in the development of brand/marketing strategy and content to ensure it is in line with global Remedy brand positioning and voice, but in a space that is relevant to the US.
  • Collaborate and support the sales team to provide best-in-class retailer specific merchandising and shopper marketing materials that help establish the brand in new distribution.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Finance, R&D) to ensure successful and on-time execution of marketing initiatives and innovation.
  • Direct and oversee integrated and experiential marketing activities, including PR, events, partnerships/ sponsorships, influencers, and sampling.
  • Manage the marketing budget, through accurate tracking and forecasting of marketing spend.
  • Actively gather, analyze, and present brand, competitor and health & wellness food category insights, trends and data. Specifically utilize SPINS data to create sales stories, as well as develop marketing and product strategies.
  • Help manage research initiatives including, custom on-demand research, tracking studies, brand research and more.
  • Act as the Brand and Marketing Liaison to founder/global brand in Australia.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required: BA/BS; Marketing or Communications degree preferred
  • 3-5 years job-related experience preferably inside marketing department or advertising agency
  • Consumer food and beverage industry design experience is a must
  • Ability to create, build and foster relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to manage timelines of multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a necessity
  • Positive energy and a passion for driving brands
  • Show demonstrated organization, leadership and project management skills while working across all components of brand marketing
  • Able to maintain confidential and proprietary information and material
