Melton Design Build, Boulder County's top design-build remodeling firm, is seeking a talented HR professional to join our energetic and creative team. We are seeking a full-time person to align our people strategy with our business strategy, and to handle our human resources and payroll functions. You will further our company culture and employment brand, recruit and onboard new employees, administer employee benefits, and help make Melton a great place to work. Using QuickBooks, you will run payroll weekly.
You must be a people-person who is detail-oriented and organized, with excellent follow through. You finish what you start when you say you'll finish it. You need very good computer skills: QuickBooks, Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook (email). You have good judgment and can work on your own without a lot of guidance / direction. You can balance the goals of the business with the needs and wants of employees.
Other requirements: at least 2 years of experience performing general HR functions like those described above; skilled with Microsoft Office; have worked for at least a year at a company with a computer server and network; QuickBooks experience preferred, including job-costed payroll. Experience with the rules and regulations for companies with more than 50 employees is a plus.
