We work with small and mid-sized emerging brands to help them develop and execute an overall sales strategy based upon their goals, products and financing.  We assign a VP of Sales to every brand to be the key liaison between the brand and our sales team.  Each Sales Director on our team has a territory of retailers to manage across all our brands.  In those territories, they are responsible for expanding distribution and driving methodical growth for our brands.  We are an intentionally small team of hard-working individuals trying to make a difference for our business partners.

Synergy is seeking a Category Management & Insights Specialist who is looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment helping emerging brands to grow.

  • Work with our internal VP of Sales and our brands to create the best-selling stories possible to help us increase distribution, solve problems, understand trade spend and overall help our brands to grow.
  • Utilize syndicated data and retailer-specific sources (SPINS, IRI, Nielsen, Whole Foods Market Portal, Market 6) to provide fact-based selling and thought leadership.
  • Create and modify generic sales presentations.
  • Develop customized sales decks and provide strategic guidance to obtain new distribution, expand facings, provide competitive insights and targets for expansion.
  • Help us to identify new item launches and potentially assist with investment raises.
  • Review available data to make solid business decisions and provide guidance to brands.
  • Gather and communicate product and market insights to sales and marketing teams.
  • Follow company policies and procedures including on-time reviews, expense reports, sales reports, meeting notes, etc.
  • Develop & maintain tools, coordinate weekly/monthly sales and reporting updates.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
