Kodo is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, who will be responsible for the material planning and inventory management associated with all products. This person will collaborate with Production, Sourcing, Procurement, and Logistics Teams to make sure we are meeting our rapidly growing customer demand while optimizing for cost and risk. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of Material requirements planning, inventory management, supply chain strategy and exceptional analytical skills.
Key Roles:
- Evaluate demand to create forecasts for raw materials, production operations and kitting operations.
- Support Sales and Operations planning process by analyzing demand and supply, identifying supply constraints and working across the supply chain team to mitigate.
- Identify excess inventory and create disposition plans.
- Analyze purchase requirements for raw materials.
- Manage and execute MRP on a monthly basis and support week to week changes in actual demand.
- Create weekly production plans and manage all work orders to closure.
- Create weekly assembly/kitting plan to support all products and manage work orders to closure.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are timely and accurate.
- Ensure that critical forecasting and inventory planning inputs and parameters are updated in planning system (customer forecast, new product introductions, lead times, stocking status, etc.).
- Update Bill of Materials as necessary to support the MRP process.
- Set target safety stock levels and create inventory stocking strategy to maintain product inventory while optimizing inventory costs and customer service levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management or related field is required.
- 3-5 years' experience in a supply chain role, specifically in production planning, Bill of material management, materials requirements planning and inventory management.
- APICS Training and or certification – (preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience implementing ERP systems desired.
- Strong familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
- Problem solving aptitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; thrives in a fast paced, growing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
