Join a fun, growing company in the natural food industry as a Marketing Coordinator for Oogie’s Snacks, LLC. The Marketing Coordinator position will require managing our various social media platforms, providing key marketing ideas and content, and reporting to the Oogie’s team. Good organization skills and a solid analysis of online sales data/marketing campaigns will be required.
Additionally, this role will also provide support and backup coverage for daily operations, including order tracking, and communication with customers and our warehouse.
While this is a fulltime position, there is no requirement to work from our Denver office- we’re all well-versed in working remotely, so that option is fine.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Marketing Coordinator
- Help build, maintain, and run online and social media platforms.
- Create content, including planning the calendar, publishing posts and stories, and monitoring account performance.
- Foster, cultivate and coordinate with brand partnerships, influencers and creative vendors.
- Act as the community manager for Oogie’s and engage with our audience.
- Manage any creative vendors we may engage, including photographers, videographers, designers and stylists.
- Run and review Amazon sales reports and participate in periodic calls with our Amazon reps.
- Complete and submit retailer and distributor promotional paperwork as necessary.
- Demo product at trade shows, distributor tabletop shows and at retail locations
- Analyze and review online sales data to leverage in future campaigns, general category trends, competitive performance, etc.
Administration Support
- Assist the Operations Manager as needed.
- Help process orders for warehouse fulfillment, plus any direct retailers and/or online orders that may need special handling.
- Work with Customer Communications, such responding to inquiries and/or issues, forwarding communications on to appropriate person in organization, etc.
Skills and Experience:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Ability to create/develop visual content (images, graphics, videos) for social media use
- Awareness to time sensitive materials /opportunities and deadlines.
- Ability to react and adapt to fast paced change.
- Strong familiarity with Google Analytics & Google Ads.
- Strong familiarity with common social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
- Two years experience in a Marketing or related position.
- Self-motivated with good time-management skills.
- Understanding of social media analytics and how they affect sales and branding.
- Experience producing creative assets for social media content on your own, and big plus if you have Photoshop, design and video editing skills.
