Our products are Certified Gluten Free, Project Verified NON-GMO, and allergen-friendly. We are a Boulder based brand in year 5 of our North American market development and our products are successfully sold in over 14,000 grocery stores across the US.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Director of Operations, you will be an essential contributor to supporting the growth of The Good Crisp Company. You will work closely with the operations & logistics team, suppliers and our contract manufacturers to support all operational functions. The ideal candidate for this position will thrive in a start-up culture.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- You will be an essential contributor and manage multiple aspects of our organization’s operations
- Support VP of Operations with ongoing reporting needs and analysis for forecasting and inventory management
- Manage freight and international logistics processes, ensuring timeliness and integrity of deliveries and communication with third-party warehousing partners
- Oversee procurement operations for raw material and packaging needs, coordinate deliveries, and provide COA’s / necessary documentation
- Coordinate and reconcile raw material inventory and aging statements
- Submit purchase orders and manage production schedules at manufacturing facilities
- Support project plans to commercialize innovation priorities
- Organize and manage QA processes for supplier documentation, manufacturer certification, and audit renewals
- Manage completion of new supplier evaluations and QA packets
- Support annual audit documentation requirements
- Ensure adherence to company compliance policies, and third-party food safety and quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in the CPG or physical product space
