Reporting to the NSM, the Western Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is accountable for profitably growing revenue across natural and grocery accounts and various e-commerce platforms in RE Botanicals’ Western Region. By developing and maintaining positive relationships with existing and new clients, the RSM will execute an action plan to nurture customers, manage new business, and profitably grow revenue. Working collaboratively with the NSM to evaluate market trends within the Western region, the RSM will ensure the company consistently meets its top-line revenue goals while providing timely feedback with the Marketing team to ensure maximum impact of brand and promotional strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute sales strategies, update forecasts, and deliver results for new and existing natural, grocery, e-commerce customers in alignment with the company’s broader strategic plan
- Identify and target new sales opportunities within U.S. Western region
- Lead all Sales team members (employees, brokers, and consultants) to achieve the Region’s monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives
- Manage broker relationships at all levels to maintain focus on the RE Botanicals brand and the key targets, objectives and initiatives that are critical to the sales strategy
- Compose proposals, facilitate key customer presentations, lead complex sales negotiations, and close business (new accounts and upsell opportunities)
- Effectively utilize SPINS and portal data from key accounts to close new business and strengthen existing customer relationships
- Provide customer feedback with Operations team to improve product line quality control
- Manage trade spend budget and gross sales to budget targets
- Provide feedback to Marketing team to continuously improve point of sale and collateral materials.
- Update sales and expense forecasts for the retail and other classes of trade
- Monitor monthly performance against budget targets and make appropriate adjustments to achieve company profit targets and maintain forecast accuracy
- Manage promotion programs for natural, grocery, and conventional channels; coordinate verification and management of manufacturer chargebacks (MCBs), enlisting Sales team to provide ongoing customer reviews
- Utilize our CRM system to document activities and following up with prospective and current customers in a proactive manner
QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven success in natural/organic sales industry
- Robust sales management experience in the Supplement/HABA side of the business managing multiple product categories and customers (candidates whose experience is limited to center-store categories will not be considered)
- Demonstrated engagement in making the world a better place through sustainable business practices and promotion of a healthy lifestyle
- Excited to be a spokesperson for and represent the RE Botanicals brand-revolutionizing the hemp products industry and commercial agriculture in the U.S.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills
- Exceptional communication skills that demonstrate high level of emotional intelligence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while being agile and making quick, effective decisions with limited information
- Willingness to travel within Western region and other locations as required (up to 75%)

- Strong reporting skills that include weekly reporting and semi-annual reviews and periodic SWOT analysisÂ
Education/Training RequiredÂ
- 3 - 5 years progressive sales experience including past supervisory experience in the natural/organic consumer packaged goods (CPG) industryÂ
- Minimum 2 years of HABA channel experienceÂ
