The Category Insights Manager will be instrumental in driving our sales strategy through brand and key competitive data analysis. This person will lead the development and utilization of our category management toolkit to allow in-depth understanding of the No Cow business and total category. The Category Insights Manager will work collaboratively with the Sales, Operations, and Finance teams at No Cow to provide key insights and recommendations that have a direct impact on execution towards AOP objectives. Specifically, we need someone who can:
- Support the Sales Team in the management of and recommendations on portfolio, range, space, and prioritization
- Conduct in depth portfolio assessments to set brand objectives, identify price gaps, highlight white spaces, and ensure price-pack execution to support the brand and portfolio strategy
- Assist our Sales Team in tracking innovation performance and highlight challenges and opportunities, especially in the first 100 days post-launch
- Deliver customer & category specific deep dives and provide recommendations
- Conduct test and learn projects in collaboration with top retailers; expand learnings to broader store counts and additional retailers
- Act as the lead expert for data and insights derived for the bar category and develop Category Management toolkit for the team to drive decision making
- Collaborate with all other functions in building and sharing a Shopper & Customer understanding based on insight and analytics across the business
- Collaborate with all other functions to develop strong reporting models and drive internal and external efficiencies
- Support the Sales Team in delivering line reviews and strategic planning days with our customers
- Evaluate consumer promotional strategies including alignment with brand objectives, promotions responsiveness as well as ROI profile. Recommend an optimal promotion strategy.
- Strengthen and maintain our S&OP forecasting suite for effective business planning and tracking
- Engage with key customers to develop expansion strategies while driving category growth in retail
- Own and manage data service partnerships, ensuring exceptional service and reporting
- Act as an owner by taking on new duties and identifying opportunities within the organization
- Deliver Monthly Category and No Cow period summaries and oversee a data training schedule to No Cow staff to succeed across all functions
- Ability to present to and work with diverse audiences, and incorporate the perspectives of multiple communities specifically racially, ethnically, and gender diverse communities.

What We’re Looking For:
- Based locally in Denver area
- 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics in a sales focused role
- Prior experience with branded consumer products, preferably in a large CPG environment
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Experience working with syndicated data – preference placed on IRI / SPINS and loyalty card data
- Entrepreneurial spirit; open to working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Strong ethical standards in presentation and collaboration
