Summary:

American Outdoor Products, a specialty food company, is seeking a committed, reliable individual to fulfill the role of Customer Service Specialist. 

This is a full-time position that is crucial to maintaining strong rapport with our customers. For some, customer service might be a customer’s first introduction and experience with the brand. So, we need someone who lives, eats, and breathes our brands and can share that passion through stellar customer service.

Sales, Marketing, and Operations

The kind of things you’ll do:

• Developing a true customer service discipline that elevates our customer service practice best-practices both online and offline
• Order entry using our simple order and inventory management software
• Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Working with marketing to familiarize yourself with our brands, our personality and voice, and remain up-to-speed on our promotional efforts to better service customer questions and needs. This includes responsiveness within our direct-to-consumer channels and work streams and monitoring online inventory levels and reporting items that are low in stock.
• Flagging consistent or significant customer issues and communicate those to sales and marketing in a timely manner with solution-oriented thinking
• Working with our Quality Assurance team to provide timely feedback from customers and partners
• Assisting with various administrative duties, including but not limited to customer mailings, new business outreach, research, updating documents and information on website, and organizing and compiling data for Sales Director and Chief Marketing Officer
