SUMMARY
Purely Elizabeth is seeking a highly motivated Senior Human Resources Manager to plan, lead, and develop the human resources department ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy. In this new role, the candidate will direct all areas of Human Resource administration including; recruiting, salary administration, associate services, associate benefits, management development/training and team culture.
KEY ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES
- In collaboration with the CEO, champions the Purely Elizabeth culture by leading company events
- Develop the people strategy, focused on attracting, training and retaining the best candidates, including setting and tracking the relevant metrics for the Management Team and Board of Directors
- Drive a high performance and engaged culture to maximize individual and team effectiveness; provide advice and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations matters
- Assist employees with HR related questions and career counseling
- Own all onboarding of new employees. Lead all onboarding aspects and content needs; onboarding materials, perks & benefits training, etc.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of human resource management experience required, cpg experience preferred
- Excellent team player and collaborator, able to function effectively across departments
- Must be solution oriented, creative thinking, wired to constantly optimize and pivot
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of organizational staff
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Must be a strong strategic thinker with results and analytical orientation
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
- Strong knowledge of employment, employee relations, benefits, compensation and HRIS principles, practices, and law
- Extensive knowledge of hiring, onboarding, talent and organization performance, development, and engagement, recognition and reward principles, practices, and law
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $85-$150 salary + bonus, commensurate with experience
