15IT Manager Job Description

We are looking for an IT Manager who will be responsible for leading Rudi’s Internal Technology through the next stage of its growth.

Based in our Boulder office, you will ensure alignment of all IT aspects at Rudi’s Bakery between systems, 3^rd party vendors and users.  We are looking for a self-motivated and communicative person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and the ability to make the correct decisions for Rudi’s Bakery.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the IT department to ensure that systems, infrastructure, and users are all operating with the highest efficiency and lead improvements that add to the security, efficiency, reliability, and usability of Rudi’s systems in partnership with internal users and 3^rd party vendors.

You will:

• Empower and support Rudi’s Bakery employees in performing their roles
• Excite team members and colleagues with your passion and enthusiasm
• Be a credible business partner to all functions of Rudi’s Bakery
• Focus on IT Strategy and day-to-day operations
• Work closely with the finance team to manage the CAPEX/OPEX budget for IT
• Manage existing, and build new, relationships with vendors to optimize cost savings and evaluate new products and services that are aligned with the business needs.
• Deliver all IT Projects for the company
• Manage 3^rd party systems and the vendors for each system in partnership with internal SME’s

At a minimum, you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience working in the IT sector, preferably with management experience.
• Experience partnering with an MSP to manage users and applications
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work successfully in flexible team structures.
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and explain problems, and your proposed solutions, by tailoring the information and language used to suit the audience
• Excellent project management skills and a strong ability to prioritize. Ideally you have experience in leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and warehouse technologies
• Advanced knowledge and hands on experience with IT Operations best practices and Service Delivery/Management frameworks
• IT Certifications (ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA, etc.) are not essential but are desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft ERP Systems within a manufacturing environment
• Prefer but not required, knowledge of EDI
