We are seeking a high-performing candidate to join our team and launch an innovative addition to our community change model.
Location: Boulder, CO
This is not a work-from-home position
In this role, you would:
- Work directly with the Chief Relationship and Community Officer to strengthen our community and grow the organization significantly in the coming years.
- Support our team's fundraising efforts nationwide.
- Write, design, and format highly-customized proposals, partnership plans, and reports for major foundation grants, corporate partners, and individual supporters. This work is critical for the organization's ability to earn trust, credibility, loyalty, and referrals.
- Launch and manage our first-ever multi-year major campaign, which will take our organization to the next level related to sophistication and program expansion.
- Use data and dashboards to track detailed revenue goals and forecasts.
- Prepare, plan, and follow through on gatherings with important constituents, (board meetings, dinner parties, volunteer activities, and more). Support our team during major events nationwide.
- Communicate directly with key supporter groups to ensure they are connected, informed, and empowered in their roles within the Greenhouse Scholars community.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive, resilient, and entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (persuasive, succinct, compelling, well-formatted).
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
- An efficient and organized approach to managing projects
- Experience with grant proposals, capital campaigns, corporate sponsorship, and sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, PeopleGrove, and MailChimp.
- 2-4 years of work experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is mandatory.
Compensation
$45,000-$55,000 depending on experience.
