 GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Honey Stinger, located in the beautiful mountain town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, seeks a Graphic Designer to join our internal Creative Marketing team. This full-time, in-house position will be responsible for concepting and designing Honey Stinger creative solutions for strategic brand initiatives and campaigns. Remote work may be permitted for the right candidate, must be based in Colorado. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, is innovative in their approach to creative problem solving, and can execute concepts across a wide variety of print and digital needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Works with internal team members to concept creative solutions that fulfill strategic brand needs.
• Executes brand look and feel for high volume graphic output according to ad unit specifications.
• Creates production-ready graphics according to design direction from the Creative Director.
• Assists with design projects across all aspects of brand touchpoints – digital, social, email, website, packaging, product images, promotions, and signage.
• Consistently contributes ideas, both individually and within group sessions.
• Collaborates with team members to ensure requested marketing materials and production graphics are consistent, concise, and delivered on-time.
• Effectively balances multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
• Delivers high quality creative materials, following established processes for project tracking, internal reviews, file organization, creative presentation, file output and delivery.
• Prepares final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for packaging printing and production.
• Creates supplied artwork into production-ready files based on approved design mockups.

Skills & Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of design principals and design mediums.
• Mastery of design programs within Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience building digital animations, video editing, or photo retouching a plus.
• 2-5 years of related work experience at an in-house creative department or marketing/ad agency.
• Effective visual, oral, and written communication skills. Copywriting abilities a very strong plus.
• Technical knowledge of file preparation between print and digital platforms.
• Highly detail-oriented with file organization including internal file layers and folders.
• Familiarity with project management software with the ability to follow a project queue worklist.
• Photography, videography, art direction, and creative production experience a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced, entrepreneurial work environment and meet business-driven deadlines.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000
