What does a view of the Boulder Flatirons and potty jokes have in common? A job at NextFoods, Inc., makers of GoodBelly Probiotics. If you have a passion for probiotics, are a detail-oriented self-starter, are willing and able to live by our High Five core values, and want to be a part of a small, scrappy company, you could be our next Sales Analyst. Working out of our Boulder office this position will be responsible for providing vital analytical support to the Sales Team.

Some of the general responsibilities of the Sales Analyst include:  

  • Overseeing and monitoring promotional spending including managing internal trade spend database for accuracy and completeness and analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of promotional activities.
  • Developing and tracking annual revenue plan and providing monthly forecast updates.
  • Developing and tracking sales departmental expense plan and providing monthly forecast for remainder of year.
  • Preparation and maintenance of sales reports including, MAPS Tracking, new item exception, slotting/freefill tracker and void reporting.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to forecast sales trends and provide insights to guide strategy.
  • Supporting Sales team with fact based selling story and presentation development.
  • Overseeing, coordinating and tracking sales coupons, promotional materials, swag, and tabletop shows.
  • Managing imaging and certification portals.
  • Working closely with other departments to provide information and resolve issues on a timely basis.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of CPG analytical experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Experience working with SPINS, IRI and other related programs.
  • Familiarity with key business-intelligence software and resources.
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand both the detail and the big picture.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Well organized and able to juggle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and have a “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Able to collaborate well with individuals both inside and outside the organization.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others.
  • Capable of having FUN!
