MAJR is looking to hire a talented associate marketing operations manager who will be responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns across owned properties and social media. You will also interact directly with customers on feedback and support issues.Â
Marketing efforts aim to drive awareness and engagement with our target audience and business partners. You will work closely with our team to develop marketing plans and then have a high degree of freedom and autonomy for execution.
Accountabilities
- Marketing execution
- Executive weekly marketing campaigns and posts across owned channels (web and social)
- Serve as point of contact for all marketing execution
- Optimize execution by monitoring metrics; use paid budget to drive business goals
- Generate progress reports as-needed for decision-making
- Customer engagement
- Serve as the point-of-contact for Beta Program with musicians and fans
- Proactively schedule monthly feedback sessions with musicians and fans
- Seek out new artist and fans for participation in the insider program
- Transcribe session feedback into notes that can be shared with the team
- Schedule sessions with team prior and post feedback sessions to discuss feedback and team alignment
- Collect and document on-going feedback from insider program participants
- Social Media
- Deliver a content editorial calendar that spans channels & story arc that organizes content into consistent, thematic messages
- Community management; must be familiar with Discord
- Generate creative ideas for campaigns, promotions and activations across social - insta, twitter, etc.
- Ability to understand how social media fits into broader PR / talent integrationsÂ
- Generate high-quality posts, in particular photos, short-form videos and audio
- Recommend, create & manage the execution of paid campaigns on social media
- Make recommendations on emerging opportunities and experimental activations
Skills & requirements:
- Candidate must have at least 2 years of marketing or digital experience
- Candidate must have experience working across functional teams
- Expert knowledge of social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok
- Must have used or be familied with the Discord community service
- Ability to quickly edit photos, videos for social sharing
- Pulse on pop culture and trending content emerging from target audiences
- Ability to work independently
- Exceptional creativity with storytelling skills
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong ability to operate as a social content curator of interesting and compelling content to share across communities
- Strong understanding of key social media KPIs, analysis and reporting
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks and activities
- Strong organizational skills
