Bolder Pilates is a beautiful and modern Pilates studio in the heart of Boulder, CO. Our mission is to empower clients in their bodies utilizing the Pilates method. We see Pilates as a tool used inside the studio, so that our clients can live their best and boldest lives outside of the studio. Our teachers hail from a variety of training programs, and continuing education is a big part of our community. We take Pilates seriously, but not ourselves. We have fun. Bolder Pilates is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Pilates teacher to join our team. Applicants must have completed a comprehensive teacher training program, have an excellent working knowledge of all apparatus, and have a strong desire to continue their education. And just as importantly they must also be an all-around kind, compassionate and vibrant person who is excited to be part of an inclusive, sweet and FUN studio community!
The most desirable candidates will have:
- Two+ years teaching experience.
- Confidence and experience teaching clients with a wide-range of needs and goals, ranging from pre- and post-surgery, athletic cross-training, chronic conditions/pain, working around injuries, prenatal and postpartum, and overall functional movement.
- Training/experience in therapeutic/rehabilitative approaches.
- Training/experience or sincere interest in functional biomechanics.
- Experience or ability to learn Mindbody scheduling software.
- Superb communication and social skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting private, semi-private, and small group Pilates sessions.
- Tailoring each session to the client(s) in front of you.
- Self-promotion/marketing to keep your classes filled.
- Being present to and accommodating for any modifications, adjustments, cues, or omissions clients may need during their sessions.
- Fostering a welcoming, supportive, and encouraging studio environment.
- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe studio.
- Being punctual and dedicated.
- Attending monthly teacher meetings/in-services.
- Completing yearly continuing education.
We ask for a minimum of 10-15 hours of weekly teaching availability and a commitment to 3 or more of the following teaching shifts, one of which MUST include a weekend day:
- Monday 2-7p
- Tuesday 2-7p
- Thursday 2-7p
- Saturday 8a-1p or 9a-2p
- Sunday 8a-1p, 10a-3p, or 1-6p
