JOB DESCRIPTION:
Are you already creating your own content for TikTok? Are you among the first in your friend group to share trending videos? Immersed in pop culture with creative ideas you’re eager to move quickly on? Do you follow and engage with influencer + creator content across your own channels? Then this Social Media internship may be perfect for you.
In this role you’ll take lead in content creation for the brand’s TikTok channel and work closely with the Integrated Marketing team to help guide strategy as trends emerge. You will also have the opportunity to assist with our robust Advocacy program, helping secure hundreds of micro-influencers to create content on behalf of the brand.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Lead content creation and editing for TikTok
- Ability to take initiative and willingness be one of the several faces of Yasso’s TikTok platform
- Procure props as needed for content production + work with other team members to appear in content as required
- Engage with trending topics and discussions on TikTok
- Contribute to social media calendar creation and sharing/scheduling content
- Lead weekly conversations to brainstorm new ideas on TikTok and discuss content performance
- Contribute to monthly dashboards, recapping performance and reporting on competitor channels
- Assist with Advocacy program execution, helping onboard new partners and monitoring content
- Research and monitor industry and competitor news and trends, flagging relevant opportunities for the brand
- Assist with organic Micro-Campaign execution, contributing to brainstorms and content production
- Perform cross-departmental tasks as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in TikTok with strong filming and editing skills
- Current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Management, Communications or related field
- Ability to work 15-20 hours a week. Remote work is available for this position while we are still a virtual team, however ultimately, need intern in office when office re-opens.
- Intern needs flexibility and availability to go film in the Boulder office – adhering to all COVID precautions – to capture content for social channels. Computer and necessary equipment will be provided
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – both internal and consumer facing – with ability channel brand voice and exude appropriate humor and wit
- Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to drive strategy on TikTok with deep understanding of platform tactics
- Ability and willingness to learn and take direction from the Marketing team and departments that collaborate on any given project. Willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
- Positive attitude and ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adhere to timelines and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to see projects through from inception to production
- Determination to achieve, succeed and progress
- Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Trello, Sprout Social, Iconosquare, GRIN, Klaviyo, a plus
