Summary of Position
Bonfire Collective is looking for a full-time Senior Account/Brand Manager to join our team. The Senior Account/Brand Manager will be leading a handful of key accounts in the outdoor apparel industry, collaborating and working with a brand team consisting of creatives, media, and strategy. It is imperative that the Senior Account/Brand Manager have expertise managing complex accounts and teams; additional expertise/experience in business turnaround is ideal.

Reports To
Director of Strategy
Expected Duties Include…
- Brand Management & Strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, industry and competitors, aligning all campaigns and executions with the client’s brand strategy.
- Consult with internal teams to communicate client objectives and develop alternative strategic solutions.
- Use market research information to evaluate, adjust, and redirect campaigns.
- Shape strategy, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue and drive incremental client growth.
- Client & Project Management:
- Act as main contact with the client and internal team on a daily basis.
- Manage & lead internal team (creatives, media, and strategy).
- Oversee all projects from start to finish; leader in every step of the process and responsible for driving team collaboration.
- Advocate on behalf of clients internally: offer a deep understanding of client’s industry, business and marketing goals — continually drive value with this perspective.
- Drives timeline and project management (we use Monday.com, Slack & Toggl)
- Mentoring of staff, contractors, and clients.
- Financial Stewardship & Profitability:
- Develop proposals, estimates, track budgets/hours, monthly time reconciliations, monthly projections, negotiations.
- Build trust and drive revenue through opportunity identification.
- Collaborating on owned/earned media, advertising strategies, content strategies, and creative campaigns alongside our team of experts
Our Ideal Candidate…
- 6+ years brand/account management experience, with 3+ of those years in an advertising agency.
- The outdoors embedded in your DNA, and ideally professional experience in the outdoor industry.
- Proven track record of successful campaign management across fully-integrated, complex marketing campaigns.
- Understanding of DTC marketing, preferably through Shopify (bonus points!)
- Experience in the nonprofit industry.
- The ability to analyze data and develop strategic recommendations.
- Creatively strong with knowledge of creative / visual best practices and principles for social and digital projects.

Location
As a company, we offer tons of flexibility on where, how, and when you work, and this position can be fully remote. However, if you’re located in the Denver–Boulder metro area, there is opportunity for on-site or partial on-site work. Bonfire Collective is based in downtown Golden, Colorado, and we just moved into a great new office.
