Founded in Colorado in 2005, There With Care’s mission is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services for families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by hospital social workers and build support around them through a community of individuals, volunteers, services and businesses, who ease their burden of life’s day-to-day obligations with compassion and care. Our current service locations are Colorado, the Bay Area of California, and the Middle Tennessee Region (Nashville).  We seek to expand our model to assist families with critically ill children in communities served by top Children’s Hospitals in the U.S. 

The Role

The Development Director is responsible for achieving annual fundraising goals by securing revenue from a variety of sources. The Development Director will engage new and existing supporters and find meaningful ways for their participation in There With Care’s mission. 

The Important Work You’ll Do:

• Share There With Care’s mission with community members.
• Develop a year-round fundraising plan and budget to meet revenue goals through a variety of sources.
• Maintain, update, and execute a moves management process that drives revenue and is donor responsive. Professionally present There With Care through office tours and public speaking opportunities.
• Attend networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Team on community events.
• Strategize with the Grants Team on local grant applications.
• Maintain donor information and analyze trends using the organization’s CRM.
