Overview of role
The Sales Manager will help drive strategies to support strong growth, our DNA of positive impact, and our engaged and energetic employee team. Ideally based in Colorado, although hybrid will be considered.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in outdoor products sales and a passion for our brand and the spaces we play in. This is a powerful opportunity for a self-starter who has a positive attitude and intimate knowledge of the distribution landscape. More broadly it’s for the highly motivated individual who is driven to scale the company to the next level with sales expansion as a strategic focus.
Inclusive of US wholesale, international distributors, and custom sales channels – this role is responsible for driving our sales strategies, the right GTM approaches, and delivering against all sales and business performance objectives. The right candidate should be prepared to:
- Be an integral part of our team in pursuing and achieving our 5-year profitable growth plan.
- Partner on advancing a blended sales strategy, that drives sales and elevates the brand with key partners, and compliments our consumer-direct channel.
- Drive the expansion of product assortment and placement with aligned partners to achieve sales and marketing goals.

Essential responsibilities
- Implement the sales plan to drive sales increases for US wholesale, international distributors, and custom sales channels, with focus on the company’s strategic goals and objectives for growth and profitability.
- Manage and grow our account base through personal sales calls, training and merchandising.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships to promote sale growth.
- Meet performance goals and continuously monitor and communicate performance of those goals.
- Lead the sales forecasting process to maximize service levels and minimize carry-over and obsolete inventory; manage excess inventories for maximum profit and minimum channel disruption.
- Develop and implement sales programs and tools; analyze and evaluate effectiveness of sales programs.
- Work effectively with operational management, demand planning and logistics to ensure delivery of product in full and on time to meet customer demand.
- Support leadership with a voice on business, product, and related strategies.
- Provide regular, open, close communication with all stakeholders within the business.
Qualifications
Practical
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible sales experience.
- Demonstrated success leading and executing sales strategies, growing sales and hitting targets – with a strong marketing mindset.
- Branded consumer goods experience required, with experience in the outdoor (or closely related) industry preferred.
- Track record working in a high growth business is critical, as the pace and expectations require both an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to scale.
- Exceptional skills in analytics (metrics tracking, dashboard creation, and ability to extract insights from data), organizational design, and leveraging technology.
