Partner companies, Fast Talk Laboratories, LLC and The Paleo Diet®, LLC, are seeking a full-time Social Media Coordinator in Boulder, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be focused on audience development through audience identification, messaging, and active engagement through social media, forums, and other platforms. In addition, they will be  well versed in distributing written, audio, and video content across multiple channels.  

This role will be essential in supporting company growth initiatives through direct audience engagement and content distribution to increase our consumer awareness and content consumption. You will be essential in distributing content across both brands which will require you to be able to understand and communicate with a broad consumer base.

By inspiring health-conscious shoppers to closely examine where food comes from, how it is made, and what it contains, The Paleo Diet has led to better awareness of the connections between food and health and has fueled today’s trends in food certification and clear labeling within the mainstream grocery and natural foods industries.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Align with the Content Manager, Audio and Video Producers, Marketing, and Leadership to execute company content production and distribution strategies.  
• Support the content strategies by providing insight into effective social media and community engagement strategies.  
• Engage and grow audiences across multimedia channels including organic social media, podcast, video, website, email, and forum. 
• Intimately learn and understand our existing and potential future audiences and develop strategies for effectively engaging these audiences. 
• Use organic social and SEO methods to distribute published content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, and others both natively and through platforms. 
• With Marketing, monitor content performance on these channels and recommend tactics to continually improve the reach of content distribution and audience engagement with content.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in communications, journalism, marketing, media, social media, or related fields. 
• 5-7+ years’ experience managing social media and audience engagement 
• Experience and expertise with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, and similar social media platforms both natively on mobile and desktop and through social media management platforms like Hootsuite, Loomly, Buffer, etc. 
• Excellent written and communication skills including copywriting, copyediting, and proofreading. 
• Basic proficiency with photo research, permissions, and use of photo and video editing software including Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, and native social media editors. 
• High degrees of self-management, flexibility, and organization to execute on simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment. 
• A passion for endurance sports (Cycling, Running, Triathlon, Swimming) nutrition, and healthy lifestyles 

SALARY AND BENEFITS: 

• Salary Range: $45-55k 
• Workplace: 3 + 2 hybrid schedule with an office in Downtown Boulder, Colorado
