Meritage Funds, a growth equity firm offering equity and/or expertise to high-growth entrepreneurial organizations, is seeking an Administrative and Marketing Coordinator to join our team based in Denver, Colorado.

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Strategic Planning (one individual), the Administrative and Marketing Coordinator will directly support and manage all administrative responsibilities for the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Strategic Planning. In addition, they will coordinate all marketing related activities for the firm including managing all digital properties, content creation and development of strategic planning materials. The Administrative and Marketing Coordinator must be a doer and is not only unafraid, but excited, to roll-up their sleeves on a variety of projects and initiatives. We are seeking someone who is highly organized and disciplined and can help us continue to deliver outstanding value to our clients and portfolio companies. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-moving, uncertain, and scaling entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Strategic Planning. This includes the management of email, calendar, travel coordination, CRM, etc. as well coordinating all client and portfolio company communication.
- Lead all Marketing activities for our Strategic Planning Practice as well as our Growth Equity Funds. This includes managing the website including making updates as needed, social channels with a focus on LinkedIn and content strategy creation, implementation and execution.
- Manage and prepare materials for our strategic planning sessions with clients, including developing, updating and preparing all pre-session and session materials (i.e. surveys, PowerPoint decks, etc).
- Set-up, prepare and manage the Meritage office for all strategic planning sessions. Ensure that all clients are welcomed and comfortable.
- Lead all “back office” work associated with the personality assessment tool that we use with all clients, Kolbe®.
- Help ensure that all growth equity deal sourcing and portfolio management processes are followed.
- As needed, work with the Investment Committee to coordinate deal sourcing and due diligence activities.
Expected Experience and Qualifications:
- At least two years professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very task and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in driving website traffic, generating leads and helping build brand awareness through LinkedIn
- Basic understanding and experience with Content Management Systems (i.e. WordPress)
- Passionate about helping other entrepreneurs
- Experience in driving impact and engagement through digital marketing efforts and/or content creation
- Unflappable self-starter comfortable with adapting to a rapidly changing environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
- Understanding of and experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®) preferred.
