SUMMARY
Purely Elizabeth is seeking a Product Quality Coordinator who will be key support for the quality team as well as responsible for document storage and organization within the Operations team. This position will work in close collaboration with contract manufacturer’s QA, R&D and procurement teams to uphold Purely Elizabeth’s quality standards and drive improvement across our manufacturing footprint. The Product Quality Coordinator should be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while communicating all issues clearly to the supervisor and all stakeholders. The ideal candidate would have a passion for food and commitment to process improvement and excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with contract manufacturers to uphold quality standards, including on-site visits and facility audits (travel required)
- Collect and analyze product feedback as well as organize and follow up on action plans for non-conformances
- Approve and onboard new suppliers as well as manage and update an approved co-packer list with corresponding documentation
- Work with existing documentation systems and establish process and procedures
- Support Quality Director with certification paperwork and on-going maintenance
- Maintain, organize and evaluate product retains library
- Drive continuous improvement to achieve business goals
- Assist with other projects as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic understanding of Quality Systems, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance (HACCP, GMP, GFSI)
- 1-2 years combined experience with food, ingredients and/or manufacturing experience recommended.
- Working knowledge of various kinds of office software
- Must be extremely organized and efficient
- 25% domestic travel
- Boulder/Denver based
- Exceptional team player, able to manage cross-departmental communication with positive mindset
- Must be very detail-oriented and enjoy fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be solution oriented
