✨ The Mission of This Role


The mission of the Performance Marketing Manager is to create and implement integrated marketing campaigns, with a focus on paid channels. This role will cover strategy and concept, through production, implementation, delivery, and reporting.

You will commonly find yourself working closely with our in-house creative team, tweaking and optimizing acquisition funnels including landing pages, product pages and paid advertising.

This is a new role, and you will be reporting to the VP, Head of Marketing. Your goals will revolve around programs that acquire customers and sustainably grow Rasa’s business.

✨ Accountabilities


You will be accountable for the following areas of the business:

  • Growing our customer base by improving business, advertising, and eCommerce KPIs
  • Executing, trafficking, optimizing, reporting of paid media advertising
  • Ideating and optimizing the customer acquisition funnel
  • Quantitative analysis and strategy around performance marketing channels

  • Increased ROIC by 15% by lowering CPA (aka CAC) by $XX to be realized through more spending power and new growth channel opportunities
  • Grow new subscribers count by 2,000 this quarter
  • Increased nth order retention for both subscribers and one-time purchasers by 2% to be realized through a X% LTV increase and higher customer satisfaction
  • Increased click-through rate to 2.5% by ideating with the creative team on brand-aligned ads to be realized through decreases in CPA
  • You will be viewed as a company expert and people across the organization will come to you for guidance around to what degree it makes sense to activate on an execution

✨ Competencies


What specific things do you need to be good at to do this job well?

  • 2-4+ years of performance marketing experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment working in performance channels (e.g. biddable media platforms) including, but not limited to, Paid Search, Paid Social, and/or Programmatic Display/Video
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • An understanding of media buying, tracking, and attribution
  • Familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV
  • Thorough familiarity and passion for data-driven lifecycle marketing, customer marketing and retention, and testing frameworks at scale
  • Data-focused with proficiency in Excel and data visualization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical understanding of marketing and analytics technologies associated with the role
  • Ability to use data to understand and improve business results; using one’s understanding of major business functions, trends, and own organization’s position to contribute to effective business strategies
  • You have experience working with a DTC eCommerce and subscription business
  • Shopify experience is a plus

Who You Are Not

  • We are not looking for someone whose experience has been managing agencies. While we do work with agencies, we prefer to in-house capabilities, and you can expect to be hands-on in acquisition channel reporting, testing, and optimization.

Job-Type: Full-time

Location: Boulder, CO - we are currently partially in-office, partially remote

Hours: 40+ hours a week. The right fit for this position will be flexible in a start-up environment.
