GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Operations Manager, you will be an essential contributor to supporting the growth of The Good Crisp Company. You will work closely with the sales & finance team and our warehousing & logistics partners. You will be responsible for the daily order fulfillment process and engage in special projects as needed on the operations side of the business. The ideal candidate for this position will thrive in a start-up culture.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
• Process customer sales orders and submissions to 3PL/warehousing partners
• Validate pricing in conjunction with promotional activity and order minimums
• Manage customer relationships regarding order updates, delivery/pickup confirmations, and customer service
• Manage internal documentation of all sales orders, shipments, BOL’s, and shipping confirmations
• Manage day-to-day processes and relationships at all warehouses
• Work with warehousing partners and freight brokers to ensure accurate, timely deliveries of product
• Responsible for managing and reporting lane spend, on-time in full deliveries, and operational KPI’s
• Ensure sufficient inventory levels throughout distribution network for E-commerce fulfillment warehouse, east and west coast consolidation/3PL partners, and process transfers
• Support Director of Operations in month-end close process for inventory reconciliations and aging statements
• Support coordination of special project builds and limited-edition SKU’s as needed
• Management of the company’s price list ensuring timely updates
• Responsible for coordinating maintenance and accuracy of product specification sheets including product attributes/allergens, packaging components, relevant certifications, UPC information etc.
• Assist Director of Operations with forecasting needs at the warehouse level and cost optimization projects
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 years experience in the CPG or physical product space
• Experience with DEAR and SPS Commerce a plus
