Full Job Description

Role: eCommerce Sales Associate

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

Compensation: Base Pay: $50,000 plus additional Sales Incentive: Up to 25% on top of base pay

Location: Boulder, CO –Minimum 2 days per week in-office required

Reports To: Senior eCommerce Sales Manager
*Full COVID-19 vaccination required

About the Role: The eCommerce Sales Associate will support the Sales Team in a variety of ways but with a focus on accelerating growth within the eCommerce-based channels. You will report to our Senior eCommerce Sales Manager who will guide, teach, and manage your responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include primary ownership of growing our eCommerce-based Industry Pro selling channel. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining elements of our Shopify Storefront, contributing to the production and analysis of email marketing programs, minor graphic design work on Canva to support advertising & design projects, and some management of paid media advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate for this role has some eCommerce experience already but is highly motivated to learn more and become an eCommerce expert.                        

Responsibilities:

  • Pursue targeted sales growth of our eCommerce-based website that focuses sales from Industry Professionals
  • Implement strategic plan to engage and grow Industry Pro sales via education, segmentation, and promotion
  • Management and optimization of Paid Media Campaigns on a supplementary digital advertising platform
  • Minor graphic design work to support Amazon/Website/Emails, etc. using Canva Design Tool
  • Updating and optimization of 3rd Party eCommerce listings using assets created by our team
  • Support Amazon Account Manager with graphic creation, uploading and scheduling of Amazon Posts and completing review requests
  • Support for SEO projects; such as keyword tagging and adding descriptions
  • Support Paid Media Contractors who manage paid ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google and Amazon via optimization of paid media marketing images and copy using A/B testing and funnel manipulation
  • Support email marketing campaigns by assisting in scheduling campaigns, building email templates, compiling data reports
  • Inputting product details and visual media to build product pages on Shopify
  • Managing product reviews across multiple webstores
  • Building landing pages via PageFly App on Shopify
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to implement seasonal and annual online marketing calendar programing
  • Monitoring Resellers across eCommerce Marketplaces such as Amazon.com and Walmart.com and working with Amazon Account Manager to resolve
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge:
    • Passion for analytics, demonstrated ability to dive deep in to eCommerce metrics and continually iterate on and improve our approach and results
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Competitive drive to exceed sales targets
    • Collaborative mindset to work amicably with Senior eCommerce Sales Manager, the sales team and across internal departments
    • Effective communication skills, both written and oral 
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Education:
    • Minimum Requirement: High School
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of eCommerce related experience: either in a Sales/Account Management or Digital Marketing r

Position Definitions

  • The eCommerce Sales Associate is a full-time salary position, based in Boulder Colorado, reporting to the Senior eCommerce Sales Manager.
  • Hybrid in office and remote work policy where Skratch Labs employees will be in person in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to foster connection and collaboration but the remaining days, work location, and schedule are flexible.
