Position Summary
The Brand Manager will lead marketing plan development and execution, lead data analysis and reporting, participate in brand strategy, guide new product development, and support the e-commerce and Sales teams. This role requires the ability to work both strategically and tactically. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be collaborative and results oriented. This role is the tip-of-the-spear of rapidly growing new products and a new brand.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead marketing plan development and execution with agency partners
- Lead data analysis/reporting
- Participate in brand strategy/positioning
- Identify new product opportunities for the brand and scope them via a project brief
- Project manage new product projects through a stage gate process with a cross-functional team
- Determine new product gross margins by partnering with cross-functional experts to calculate GM%
- Support Sales team’s needs (e.g. selling stories, images, retailer programs, trade shows, etc.)
- Develop content for e-commerce team to drive online sales of the brand
Skills, Experience and Qualities
- Passionate about CPG marketing and have experience with brand management
- Knowledgeable about the new product development process from concept to market launch
- Extremely agile and can thrive in an ever-changing, fast-moving environment
- Organized and results driven
- Someone who has a can-do attitude
- Preferably (but not required) living in the Boulder/Denver metro area
- A Bachelor’s Degree – MBA preferred
- At least five years of food and/or beverage CPG marketing experience – natural/organic a plus
- Worked in brand or product management
- Developed content for e-commerce and social media activities
- Proven project management skills
- The ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication skills
