About the Position

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will help to drive the engagement and growth of our audience and be responsible for the day-to-day activities and operations of the marketing department. This is a critical role that collaborates with all members of our team and a unique opportunity for an early-career marketer that will provide exposure to a diverse set of responsibilities and skill-building at a fast-moving, innovative organization.

Tech Savvy. You easily move between Instagram, WordPress, Zoom Webinar, and Canva. You are well-versed in the strategies and trends that drive growth and engagement.
Action-Oriented. You’re extremely proactive — you identify opportunities or issues as they arise and propose steps to address them. You’re comfortable owning projects from start to finish and know how to get things “unstuck.” Creative. You are able to create engaging content for a variety of audiences and bring creativity and new ideas to the table all the time. You are a skilled copywriter with an eye for design and a high standard of excellence.
Highly Collaborative. You know that the best results come from working together as a member of a team. You love a good brainstorm and are excited to work with a diverse set of collaborators, from the CEO to your direct teammates to the teachers we serve.
Flexible & Steady. You’re comfortable with ambiguity; able to respond adeptly to rapidly changing priorities. You are energized by working under pressure. You can work on multiple long- and short-term projects simultaneously, communicating regularly, and meeting all related deadlines.

What You’ll Accomplish

●  Implement marketing strategy aligned with Big Green’s priorities, growth goals, target markets, and mission.

●  Publish relevant, original, high-quality, engaging content for social channels.

●  Maintain a posting schedule, deploy content thoughtfully and monitor engagement, trends, and strategy.

●  Collaborate with external content creators ranging from Big Green partners and beneficiaries to influencers and celebrities.

●  Manage community moderation on social media platforms and drive the conversation with a consistent brand tone and voice.

●  Manage mass email communications and lists including newsletters, updates, and invitations, balancing schedule and priorities across projects and audiences.

●  Manage day-to-day functionality of website, blogs, forms, and more. Execute on thoughtful SEO strategy to drive traffic and strengthen brand awareness.

●  Track metrics and ROI, monitor performance, complete monthly and annual reports to demonstrate progress.

●  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

●  You are a marketing professional with a minimum of two (2) years of experience with increasing responsibility and independence.

●  Have contributed to managing and growing a strong brand (personal or otherwise).

●  A passion for Big Green’s mission and a desire to create opportunity in food and health across the country.

Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 dependent on experience
