Full Job Description

Wild Planet Foods is seeking a Marketing Intern. The Intern will be responsible for supporting a high-performing Marketing & e-Commerce team in the flawless execution of programming designed to drive sales.  This person will have visibility to overarching communication, trade marketing and brand building strategies.  This is a 30 hour/week, 8-10 week internship starting in June.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and activate against a work plan that will result in the update of our Amazon digital shelf; including catalog updates, imagery and video updates and deployment of redesigned A+ content
  • Evaluate e-Commerce best practices for brand and product imagery and provide a recommendation that Wild Planet can consider as other retailer e-Commerce sites are optimized
  • Help prepare the organization for further extensions of this type of content to other retailer e-Commerce sites by organizing a master data catalog
  • Assist in the creation of sell sheets, “4Ps” documentation and other presentations needed to help with the sell-in of Wild Planet products
  • Aid in the development of an event/trade show strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives
  • Research trade show logistics (and help with corresponding implementation) and identify opportunities for creative ways the brand can participate in these events
  • Participate in marketing team meetings to increase exposure to the breadth of the team’s responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the entire Marketing team with other projects as needed

Education And/or Experience

  • Currently working towards a BA/BS in Marketing or Business-related field
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
  • Desire to better understand Marketing, e-Commerce and consumer packaged goods (CPG)
  • Proficient utilizing the full range of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
