GAN started in 2010 when Brad Feld and David Cohen—the two co-founders of Techstars—had the idea to connect the top mentorship-driven, seed-stage accelerators around the world. Alongside the White House’s Startup America Initiative, GAN was launched to align those accelerators and create a community and model for their success.

Today, GAN is an independently-operated organization with more than 120 of the world’s best accelerators in our community, running programs in 120+ cities all over the world. GAN Ventures is our investment arm, making seed-stage investments in startups across the globe. And, we have built three parallel communities—GAN Partners, a group of engaged corporate partners that are seeking to build meaningful relationships with GAN Startups everywhere; the Global Startup Studio Network (GSSN,) a growing community of more than 40 startup studios that spans four continents; and GAN Hubs, our newest community of entrepreneurial centers.

Full Job Description

The COO plays an integral part in GAN’s health and growth by providing ongoing leadership and oversight for the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is growing, staying true to its mission and values and performing efficiently and effectively.

You will love this job if you enjoy leading teams, bring order to chaos, and want to lead a company in a unique space and industry. You are someone who is curious, loves to learn, isn’t afraid to get in the details and gets excited by a day that includes a mix of managing a team, ensuring deliverables are met, talking with customers, and building a company for the future. If you’ve spent the last few years in or around high-growth startups and growing companies, this could be the job you’ve been dreaming of.

While drawing on a strong track record of operations, management and financial success, you’ll be asked to serve in a nimble, fluid role, doing everything from leading a sales team, managing the company’s Directors (who oversees theCompany’s business lines), ensuring goals are hit, and keeping the company’s product roadmap on track. We’re constantly testing new strategies, so we need this role to serve as a get-it-done team person that’s resourceful, agile, and a creative problem solver.

While reporting to the company’s CEO, you’ll own all sales, customer success, marketing and financial aspects of the company - a growing business where top brands work with GAN to build the next generation of high-growth startups around the world. Through it all, you’re someone who is running the day-to-day operations at GAN all while staying true and building a team that lives by GAN’s mission and values.

Compensation & Benefits
Base compensation for this role is between $130,000 and $150,000, based on experience. Total compensation will include a base salary plus a semi-annual bonus incentive, up to 20% of your base salary split out twice a year. Additionally, you will have participation and upside in the GAN Ventures fund. We’ll discuss this more with you early on as we begin the interview process.
