The Role
Kodo is currently seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our marketing team
as the E-Commerce Specialist. This person will be responsible for new product launches
and maintaining existing products, which includes image processing and data
maintenance, creating/updating CMS pages, and collaborating on web development
projects. Working closely with the Brand Manager, this person will execute, elevate, and
enhance product assortments on the Kodo website to achieve and increase sales and
marketing goals. The ideal candidate should bring a mix of creative and strategic
thinking as well as technical skills to execute a seamless consumer user-experience.
The Responsibilities and Duties
- Reference and support brand data to ensure an exceptional customer experience
through our merchandising strategy and carefully curated content pages. - Oversee product launch schedules.
- Oversee product data entry and bulk image production, along with creative assets such as homepage banners and updating/creating new CMS pages to fulfill marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with graphic designer on web-optimizing new and existing studio images after photo shoots
- Ensure the timely execution of online content and product catalog setup activities, including product copy, imagery preparation, and content updates.
- Liaise with the brand manager to execute content strategy and layout, including functionality and customer experience enhancements.
- Test site enhancements and functionality as needed.
- Ensure flawless execution of activities and e-comm initiatives by working with cross-departmental teams.
- Work cross functionally with internal and external business partners to maintain brand superiority, address and resolve site issues and provide timely and accurate responses to questions and concerns.
- Ensure congruency and consistency across site touchpoints including navigation, product layout, content strategies, and linking strategies.
- Execute the internal marketing support requests from the customer service teams, providing timely and accurate responses to website questions/issue resolution.
- Identify e-commerce opportunities and suggest enhancements and best practice solutions to support the growth of sales/marketing goals
- Enhance and improve website to improve site discoverability, UI and UX and conversion rates
The Qualifications and Skills
● Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Web Design or related field
● 2+ years or equivalent demonstrated experience in professional e-commerce
● Must have experience with WordPress + Woo-Commerce + Divy Builder
● Experience in education or B2B marketing a plus
● Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus
● Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
● Demonstrated ability to take multiple projects from concept to completion in a
dynamic environment and respond to changing schedules and priorities
● Must possess an innate curiosity and a roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do,
entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to both think strategically and implement on
a tactical level
