Manager level finance planning and analysis position responsible for generating relevant, timely, and high-quality financial insights and reporting to drive profitable business decisions across the full P&L. The incumbent will work cross-functionally with stakeholders and functions to support the Breakfast and Snacks Segment (noosa and Birch Benders brands). This role will have full P&L responsibility and accountability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide planning, reporting, and analysis of Volume, Sales, Cost of Sales, and Operating Expenses for respective brand
• Drive innovation by serving as the financial representative on cross-functional taskforces, owning the P&Ls for innovation items and providing financial thought leadership during all parts of the stage gate process
• Prepare monthly financial results and commentary for key monthly and quarterly meetings, demonstrating an understanding of key business drivers
• Develop profit and loss statements for assigned area business unit or activities
• Create models to provide financial insights enabling business leaders to evaluate new business opportunities and/or changing business paradigms in an efficient way
• Lead the period close process for assigned brand (reporting and forecasting)
• Continuously work to streamline and automate processes
• Assist in business case development as needed for, but not limited to, new manufacturing lines, new business propositions, and/or line extensions
• Provide financial analysis on an ad hoc basis
• Proactively manage process, meetings and calendars to ensure timeliness and efficiency of budget and month end procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master of Business Administration, CPA, and/or CFA preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a financial role including financial planning & analysis, public accounting, investment banking or management consulting
• Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, Intermediate PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior CPG Industry Experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC or other mid-large ERP systems and sub-systems
