Job Description: Sales Operations Manager
Based in our Boulder office, this role will ensure alignment of sales support functions, while acting as a liaison between departments to collaborate on sales needs and manage sales projects from the HQ level.  This role will also lead sales administration tasks such as new vendor setup and customer portals. We are looking for a self-motivated and strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action mindset. Also critical in this role are sound judgment, confidence, analytical prowess, and being solution driven.
Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, this role will work within the sales department to ensure that sales processes, reporting and customer admin needs are executed with the highest efficiency. This is a critical sales support role that will enable Rudi’s accelerated sales growth to progress quickly by working within sometimes urgent deadlines, while also representing the company with external sales partners and customers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist the CSO and sales managers in a variety of sales functions as needed.
- Work with the CSO and leadership team on strategic development and process improvement to support rapid growth.
- Liaison between sales team and other departments to support communication and collaboration with c-suite, supply chain/operations, finance/accounting and marketing.
- Timely completion of sales reporting.
- Support with managing and executing retail pricing strategies, including supplying sales team with product information, data and competitive pricing for various needs.
- Manage and update price lists and calendars.
- Sales data analysis used for leadership and board reporting, and key decision making.
- Work closely with sales team to ensure annual operating plan alignment and execution.
- Administrative ownership of new item and customer setup processes and portal registration/management.
- Manage and coordinate special events to include trade shows, bakery facility tours and other retailer functions.
- Empower and support the Rudi’s Bakery sales team in performing their roles.
- Excite team members and colleagues with your passion and enthusiasm.
- Be a credible business partner to all internal and external Rudi’s Bakery stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience working in a sales operations or sales support related role within the natural foods segment of the CPG industry.
- Having a personal belief, passion and enthusiasm for Rudi’s products, while embracing the exciting opportunity to sell the highest quality commercial bread on the market.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to succeed in flexible team structures.
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and explain problems, and your proposed solutions, while provide the required information to make decisions.
- Willingness to step outside of job description duties from time to time to get things done, as we are a small but growing team.
- Effective project management skills and a strong ability to prioritize. Ideally you have experience in leading and managing projects both between internal company departments and with external parties/customers.
- Experienced working knowledge of industry distributors (UNFI, Kehe, etc), broker relations and the retail grocery landscape, as well as third party customer portal familiarity.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with SPINS/IRI and syndicated data providers.
- Familiarity with industry trade shows, notably Expo East & Expo West.

Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 (commensurate with experience)
